Excellent Bold-Flavored Dark Coffee. December 28, 2008 A. Stagg (Virginia, USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
If you've been looking for a VERY bold coffee for your single-serve brewer, look no more!! This is an excellent coffee with a bold, rich taste. Not acrid or bitter. Very strong. This is a coffee that will get your motor running in the morning. I've used the Keurig system for several years and this product is better (and stronger) than anything produced for the Keurig system. It may not be to everyone's taste. However, you can make it weaker using the manual controls on the Tassimo brewer. The one downside for the Tassimo is that they don't yet have the variety of coffee available for the Tassimo that is currently available for the Keurig. Nevertheless, if you like bold-flavored coffee, you will be VERY happy with this brew. Highly Recommended!!
Amazon's price is double Bed Bath & Beyond's August 21, 2008 --pat (around) 1 out of 5 found this review helpful
The product is fine, and I like my Tassimo one-cup coffee maker a lot. But, unless B3 is showing the count wrong, Amazon is way overcharging for this. Same with the Starbuck's house blend.
Best of the Starbucks T-Disc Offerings July 6, 2008 William G. Parrott (Durham, NC USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've tried several of the Starbucks T-discs and this is the best. I've tried French press, etc. and just haven't been able to come close to the Starbucks flavor, but this is the closest (and Cheapest) yet.
Deep Rich Flavor April 21, 2008 Richard Bitting (Huntsville, Alabama) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This coffee is not for people who like a mild and weak flavor. The flavor is intense and bold as the dark continent itself. A cup of this in the morning is a real waker upper.
This is a great cup of coffee... March 30, 2008 James Means (Houston, TX United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I do not by any stretch of the imagination drink a huge amount of coffee. In fact, I limit myself to one "cup" per day. I bought my Tassimo machine on a whim. I was sick of buying expensive coffee and making inferior coffee in my coffee maker. These "T-disks" are expensive but over the long haul, I think that I'll come out cheaper using them. That being said, the coffee is AMAZING. The Africa Kitamu is bold, rich, and has an almost fruity quality about it. I absolutely love it. I do wind up using the manual button on my Tassimo to add extra water to the coffee but it is still amazing. Do take the time to recycle the plastic disks though...
