A great cup of coffee May 9, 2008 Marilyn E. Briant-Rockmore (Florida) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have tried all of the supermarket coffee pods and they all have very little taste. These pods are thick and packed full of coffee which means that you get a nice strong brew. I use them in my Bunn one cup coffee maker and the pods only just fit into the holder. I press the "tea" button which means the water goes through the pod in bursts and this seems to make a stronger cup. My favorite coffee is Starbucks and these pods make coffee that is a close second.
very, very weak May 5, 2008 theskeptic (Jersey) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I'm giving up on coffee pods after using these. (Although I thought the Senseo I used before were slightly better.) I have a standard one-cup coffee maker, and the coffee that these Fratello pods make is so weak as to barely qualify as coffee. Whether I use one or two pods together, I basically get "brownish water". I have no idea what they mean when they say "full bodied flavor" on the box. I do not want to be able to see the bottom of the cup through the coffee. That's weak. I'm going to try using regular grounds, either in my current one-cup coffee maker or in one of the Swissgold one-cup makers. But if you like brownish water, then I'm sure you'll really enjoy these pods.
This is so much better than Senseo! April 12, 2008 Brenda K. Oldroyd (Georgia) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This coffee, for a decaf, is absolutely wonderful!! Nice flavor and excellent body. I have tried lots of Fratello coffee pods, and I haven't been disappointed yet!!
