I've bought a pair for my adult children. They come apart for easy cleaning in the dishwasher. Guaranteed for life--and the company actually honors that--for life.
I use them to cut paper, plastic, meat, nuts, pizza, rope, tin, flower stems, brush, cloth, veggies, opening mail, boning poultry, chopping lettuce, ...well, there's nothing it will not do.
