Product Description
Aerolatte Milk Frothers are the world-famous, award-winning, best-selling original steam-free milk frother. Safe and easy to use, the Aerolatte milk frother eliminates the need for expensive steam-based machines. It works directly in your mug or glass using an innovative whisk-head to turn milk that has been heated in the microwave or stovetop into rich, thick foam in just 20 seconds. Use for lattes, cappuccinos, milkshakes, and hot chocolate. Includes instructions, recipes, and 2 AA batteries. 5 year guarantee.

This cute handheld milk frother is fun and easy to use; British celebrity chef Nigella Lawson recommends it over steam-driven frothers. Plus, in addition to its most popular use--creating delicate foam for homemade cappuccinos, lattes, or hot chocolates-- the Aerolatte milk frother can be used for other, equally yummy treats. An enclosed recipe sheet offers ideas for fruit "shakes" and coffee frappes that can be made with any kind of cow, goat, sheep, soy or rice milk! Some restaurant chefs even froth milk to foam garnish earthy soups.

The frother is easy to use, with a simple black toggle button to turn it on. Hold the stainless steel head just below foam level to keep froth building. The shape of the steel-toned, satin-finished handle is curved in the right places and flattened on the sides for a comfortable grip. When it's time to replace the batteries, a black ridged cover slides off to reveal the battery chamber. (It's important to use alkaline batteries with the Aerolatte milk frother.)

To clean, turn the frother on and dip the whisk in hot soapy water; rinse well, and turn again briefly to spin dry. Wipe the handle with a damp cloth; do not immerse handle in water. The whisk is not removable from the battery handle. The milk frother measures 8-1/2 by 1-1/2 inches. Two AA alkaline batteries are included, as well as a recipe and instruction sheet. Aerolatte guarantees the Original Steam-Free frother for five years. --Garland Withers

1 out of 5 stars I can't believe all the great reviews   January 6, 2009
Maureen T. Laverty (Wayne, NJ)
I followed the directions exactly and got no foam whatsoever. The result was as if I had put a straw in the milk and started blowing bubbles. Oh, and it turned the milk a weird texture like the lactose and water were separating. I was using nonfat milk but I don't think it makes a difference since they claim you can use any type of milk.

5 out of 5 stars amazing foam!   January 2, 2009
A. Boston (Boston, MA United States)
I was excited to get this for Christmas -- I love foam and the one on our cappacino maker for lack of a better word, sucks. It's a pain, you burn yourself if you're not careful. Barely foams the milk, it's just horrible.

I read the reviews on this before adding it to my xmas amazon wishlist and for the price, how could you go wrong? It worked just as amazingly and easily as I had expected.

Even my parents, who had gotten it for me, were shocked. The whole time I was home for the holiday, I made foam for everyone for their morning coffee. and every morning without fail you'd hear "I can't believe how good the foam is! I really didn't think it would work!". I even made foam out of lactaid(it is real milk, just with the lactose enzyme removed for those who are lactose intolerant). SHOCKING! Actually, I think I might have gotten my stiffest foam yet with the lactaid! I've tried it both hot and cold, as well as whole milk both hot and cold and everything foamed magnificently without fail.

I got some rechargable AA batteries for my aerolatte, so I never have to worry about my batteries going dead and not foaming properly.

Awesome product, you cant burn yourself like with a traditional foaming attachement on the espresso/cappacino maker, you can only make fantastically foamy foam!!

4 out of 5 stars Good Froth!!   December 27, 2008
LH (Troy, NY)
The Aerolatte Milk Frother was the hit of Christmas Morning. The recipient was thrilled at how much foam the frother made, much more and much thicker than Starbucks!! The only drawback is that it doesn't work quite as well if the milk is warm. No biggie though!! This little beater definitely left'em foaming at the mouth for more!!

5 out of 5 stars i love it   November 26, 2008

5 out of 5 stars Frothy Milk in Seconds   November 2, 2008
M. C. Leon (Orange County, CA USA)
I love this product. I use it daily and love to froth milk for my morning coffee. It is terrific and it works great with all kinds of milk especially with whipping cream and evaporated milk. I barely go to Starbucks anymore when I can make my own lattes at home and taste even better. I've even converted my tea drinking spouse to drinking coffee! That says it all!
