Good stuff July 5, 2008 Lost Dragon 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I thought the coffee tasted just fine. I didn't notice any flavors that turned me off and the low acidity allowed my wife to drink coffee without stomach upset for the first time in years. Thumbs up!
REALLY BAD COFFEE!!! July 3, 2008 Mountain Artist (Oregon) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I wanted to try some low-acid coffee,so ordered this. I couldn't believe how pathetic it was! I made it exactly according to directions, and it was totally blah: low acid, yes, but also barely any taste, aroma,or buzz.I tried it a second time with a little more coffee than called for by the directions, but still BLAH! Some reviewers have suggested that the batches are differing from each other. All I can say is that the batch I got was worthless. If this is their typical product, save your money and drink diluted tea,or freeze-dried coffee;ANYTHING would be better than this anemic suggestion of coffee.
If you need low acid coffee... August 29, 2007 Kimberly Skach ...this is absolutely the best! I have tried several other coffees advertised as low acid, but Puroast is the ONLY one that I can drink comfortably. The taste is great and I'm glad they have produced an organic version. It's cheaper on Amazon than direct from the co!
I think my order was just a bad roast batch. May 13, 2007 Mary J. Savoie 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've been sampling organic fair trade beans for a few years. This particular might have been better had I purchased a newer batch. Some of the beans were seemingly burnt, most were mild roast - which is what I like. I am not sure why the mix, but the seemingly burnt beans gave the coffee an almost rancid taste. I use filtered water and unbleached filters - I do everything I can to get a good taste. Maybe it was me. Maybe someday I will get a better batch of beans...one never knows...at least some of my money went to a good cause!
