great product! April 5, 2008 L. Freeland (Buffalo, NY) Tastes better than Starbucks and are better too (organic). Starbucks beans also look very dry next to these. I have an automatic espresso machine and love them. And to top it off, they are cheaper!
Robust March 26, 2008 L. Pineiro I have used this coffee for the past year. I've ordered it over and over; as I like a good strong..robust coffee. Suits my tastes.
Not recommended March 10, 2008 Marchy Burnt taste, bland and bitter with no character - maybe I was not lucky, but this is what was in my shipment of this coffee which I purcahsed based on Amazon reviews. I e-mailed Caffe Appassionato directly asking to replace what could be a bad batch of coffee, but they never replied to me.
Perfectly crafted bean November 27, 2007 Aaron M. Guzman (So. Cal.) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have tried many different organic shade-grown fair trade coffees. I think that while the beans are of very good quality with most of them, what sets this coffee apart is the perfect roast. Dark, but not burnt, with the natural oils covering the whole bean. The flavor is deep and earthy with a touch of sweetness and exceptionally smooth.
Good coffee November 24, 2007 S. M. Panella I am a first time reviewer and I am always amused at the variations in product reviews. This is good coffee and it's easy to make a good tasting cup of coffee. For reference, I only buy whole bean coffee and consider my self a coffee enthusiast.
